🌟 Lake Forest is Proud to Be a PBIS School! 🌟

At Lake Forest, we believe that learning happens best in a positive, safe, and respectful environment. We use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to help students understand what is expected and to celebrate them for making great choices.

Our PBIS program is built around four simple expectations:
Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe. Be on task.

To make things clear for everyone, we created a PBIS Matrix. This is our roadmap for behavior. It shows what those expectations look like in different places, such as the classroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, and bus.

Students use this matrix every day to guide their choices. When they follow these expectations, they earn PBIS points. These points can be saved up for fun rewards, special privileges, or school-wide celebrations. It is our way of saying, “Great job, you are making Lake Forest an awesome place to learn!”
